In his omnipotence, god thought it best to share his ideas in writing during a time when most people were functionally illiterate. It would have served better as toilet paper to the vast majority of humans.

The Bible describes some cruel times and the jealous and capricious nature of the God of the Jews. Then there is Jesus, a man so gentle, with a remarkable insight to our Creator. When you realize that the Bible is a product of man, it all makes sense, and it sets you free from doctrine. Free to see our Creator as Jesus saw him and tried to tell us.
