Heya, quick correction - damage resist sources (like woven mail) and damage output reduction sources (like sever) don't stack in the same way that stacking two damage resist sources would as seen by the formula in this video. If you wanted to properly calculate how woven mail and sever stack, it would look like this: 0.60 + (1-0.60) * (1 - (1-0.40)) = 76% The numbers are not very far off in this scenario, but it's good information to know nonetheless. If you'd like the skeleton of the formula you should use to stack damage output reduction sources with damage resist sources, then here: Total Reduction = DR + (1-DR) * (1 - (1-x) * (1-y) * (1-z)) (note that you should still use the formula you used in the video to calculate your damage resist, and then use that value in substitute for the "DR" variable in this equation to calculate total damage reduction.) Hopefully this helps anyone who sees it better their knowledge c:
