Now don't get me wrong, the Espresso Martini is a delicious balance of all things booze and coffee but I can guarantee most bartender's have made a million and one these in their time and are happily looking forward to the next cocktail trend to hit! Adios espresso!

Although first created in the 1980's is wasn't until the last decade these bad boys have dominated the modern cocktail scene- at least here in Australia.

INGREDIENTS
2 oz / 60 ml vodka
1/2 oz / 15 ml coffee liqueur
1 oz / 30 ml espresso
1/4 oz / 7.5 ml simple syrup

The espresso martini is one of very few vodka drinks that I really like. Itā€™s great using homemade coffee liqueur and cold brew concentrate as well.

I highly recommend using a very strongy brewed regular Coffee (using a Filter and dripped over ice or French Press), because the acidic and floral notes change the whole drink.
