Grew and hybridized cool growing orchids for about 40 years. Soon learned that the root system was the way to judge the health of a plant, particularly green root tips.

I try to ignore the plant and pay attention to the roots of any plant I buy,figuring they will melt and if the roots are good come back!

Definitely the roots. Without a strong foundation, there is nothing much to build upon. <β€’))))~{

They said pothos drown underwater but I had them in a glass mayson jar with water then I transferred it to my aquariam substrate and it's been 2 months and you can see alot of root growth and its always making new leaves.πŸƒ
The leaves grow slow but I have alot of new small leaves now! It's grown about 8 new leaves and I have already trimmed of all the old ones😊. Just a tip for pothos underwater and MY experienc
