She's far from being the strongest mage of all time
Serie even stated Frieren is actually pretty weak for her age because she spent all her time perfecting her ability to hide her mana in order to fight demons

Generally speaking you have right, but due to their longevity elf comes with some shortcoming that humans simply don't have, shortcoming that can erase the pratical difference in raw power

Bro obviously didn't watch the anime or read the manga, because not only does she admit to losing to quite a few mages in her time, about half of them were human, and one likely would have had a fair chance at it if she hadn't talked her way out of it. Also Serie could just curb stomp Frieren with no effort.

True although just because she knows a spell doesn't necessarily mean she has a mastery over it. freiren had around 80 years to learn zoltrak meanwhile Fern mastered it in 10. And freiren even admits that fern is a lot better at casting zoltrak than she is. Serie even tells her that if anyones gonna kill her it'd be the demon king or a human sorcerer.

Frieren is actually weak compared to a fellow elf. She is just made to kill demons, but she also loses to a lot of them. I would say Serie is the peak of magic.
