Why would there be bullet holes from WW2? Gunfire never reached London like Berlin. If I were to guess it’s either anti aircraft artillery or bomb damage

The original bridge is actually a shell over a modern bridge substructure. This was done to allow the bridge to remain usable by modern traffic. I lived there for a few years. The making of this video gave me nostalgia.
