That's why my throat was sore when I woke up! I didn't have a voice for a bit and my very kind nurse spoonfed me ice chips and comforted me. She was great. I woke up about to cry but I saw there was a little boy directly across from me, facing my direction and I didn't want to scare him so I stopped myself from sobbing hysterically lol. I'm 31 but I felt like I needed a mom right then and my nurse was an angel.

Hi Dr. Kaveh! Thank you for making such great videos, you are truly an inspiration and I have learnt so much regarding power over health. I was wondering if you have any advice for someone scared of needles - I am terrified and hope you can give some tips, I could really use it! Thank you so much again! Really appreciate it :)

It has been 20 years, but I still remember how amazing my anesthesiologist was when I had to have surgery. I had a moment of panic when she was explaining how they would be putting a tube through my vocal chords (or something like that) and I felt certain I would never speak or sing again.

After surgery she actually had someone let me know my vocal chords were OK. It was the first memory i have upon waking up.

I always wondered why after every surgery the back of my throat felt sore, as if something had been there.

So I've wondered, when doing these videos and you have the syringe full of medicine, does that get wasted, or are you setting up for surgery?

Glad I didn't snore and embarrass myself even if I wouldn't know I did. I'd still feel embarrassed if you said yes we did t
regardless LOL.

Can central sleep apnea become dangerous during surgery? Like when your Brain forget to breathe. Or does the oxygen you give patients cover for that.

I snore a lot!! I can wake neighbors up, make a tent look like it's breathing and scare everyone including myselfπŸ˜‰
