Jace my poor poor baby. Rhaenyra doesn't see, but she's doing the same thing Viserys did to her. Creating challengers for her heir as Viserys did by having kids.. Rhaenyra does too by having kids with Daemon and now the whole Dragon thing. Jace, Luke and Joff were always doomed just like Rhaenyra was.

In the book, once all was said and done, both sides lost but one thing everyone agreed on was Jace should have been king. He was incredibly in the book. Brave, smart, kind, merciful but fierce. People fault him for coming up with the dragon seeds plan but honestly whether someone is loyal or treacherous has nothing to do with legitimacy, Jace took a chance to get more riders because their side was weak.. Jace was a good man, Addam was the most loyalty and they are bastards. Lots of bastards throughout the story are noble by deeds. But the legitimate lords aren't always loyal. Lots of them are scheming and greedy. People over look it and admire them because they by chance got born within wedlock. I thought book readers or show watchers would realise this but people still make a big deal about bastards.

No matter what, he’s still a Targaryen, his mother is the sole heir to the Iron Throne, and so he’s the successor.
Hugh and Ulf have Targaryen blood, they can’t say they’re just commoner. While Addam have Velaryon blood in him, which have ties with the Targaryen as well.
Still, Targaryens are only dragon-riders.

Oh I feel extremely bad for Jace , all those insults and rumors from childhood for something he had no control over and yet whenever he tries to ask rhae about it she diverts the question
They need to have this conversation before the gullet and hug , cuz if not I will riot
Why do the writers hate Jace so much, they gave almost all his achievements away , made his mother who loves him more than herself not trust him , took away his screen time and made his character do the complete opposite of what he does in the books
Literally Jace is the only person in f&b said to be worthy of throne , is described as extremely politically savvy, nobody can talk negative about him as he is clam and gentle, he does everything for his mother’s claim and it was his idea of dragronseeds and his execution as well , has close friendship with both Adam and nettles , his contribution is one of the biggest in the dance and at the end because of him certain positive things takes place and ends the whole dance of the dragons
They really are making him seem like a bratty teen who is arguing with his mother , god seriously cancel the damm show if they are gonna do this to my boy
Book Jace is on his way to kill show Jace bfr , he gonna feed him to vermax for raising his voice at his mother who he worships more than god

I admit that neither Jace or Luke were in season 2 my favorite characters and that i dislike them after the bullying they did in season 1 (Luke and his poor Dragon didn’t deserve to die how he did) but your little edit about Jace describes his character and that what he feels perfectly.
He has gone through so much and Rhaenyra doesn’t see it. He wants to help and Rhaenyra doesn’t let him help the way he wants it (my opinion).
I thought that Luke and Jace were selfish and arrogant but in reality they wanted to prove themselves because everyone saw the truth about their parentage. The problem Rhaenyra provoke and justified the whispers about them by abandoning Kings Landing and wanted to have Aemond sharply questioned for speaking out what everyone thought and what is sadly the truth.
