I will do do a comprehensive video on walking and fixing a compromised gait, however, in the meantime, this is a great example of how to build lower body strength and balance as it pertainsto walkingโ€normallyโ€. Working on climbing stairs smoothly has been monumental for my recovery. Really helps retrain the circuits in our brain to automatically respond in multiple ways. The timing of the steps, the coordination it takes to push off and lift up on the affected side is really hard to achieve. Climbing stairs allows a continuous repetitive motion that really helps with all the above. Strength, balance, and coordination. The added bonus is it really helps correct any limping and forces a cleaner walk on the daily ๐Ÿ‘Œ
