Holy canoli. I appreciate but cant this. That's scary stuff. I hope you are both ok. Jeepers! I crossed paths with a juvenile bear one and feared this exact scenario, minus a doggo.

You KNEW moose was there and let your dog go forward , not even calling dog back to you. What do you expect moose to do ? You let it happen.

As someone that's lived in Alaska for 10 years, it's terrifying to see a moose charge you. I've had it happen once.
I also had one instance where I had accidentally walked on to a mother moose and her 2 babies. I noticed them when I was 15 feet away and the mother I'm sure noticed I was terrified and realized I wasn't a threat as I slowly backed away because I saw her head nod as if she approved of my actions & I walked back home.
Crazy stuff. Had another situation where I came across a bear in the middle of the night walking home.
All of these I'm talking about happened in Alaska.
