I had this motherboard issue with my newly purchased Oneplus 7T after update , It was under warranty but then Covid pandemic started and i ended up buying new phone, 2 phones total costed me 60k , My advise that buy Apple or Samsung flagship phones and avoid unnecessary updates, there might be some easy way to identify that update is tested OK and safe to update.

I have lost my poco phone in exact same manner within just 1.5year from purchase. It's sad that these huge companies are still unable to overcome this massive issue. Those good old days are gone when a phone used to last for at least 3-4 years. Nowadays you never know when a green line might pop up or the motherboard will be dead altogether.

Mercyless companies, sue them royally no need to pay them a penny instead they should pay penalty on this to all customers n replace free of cost, my samsung m52 also got screwed up after update and so far so good no response from samsung
