This is how Támesis is preparing for the great coffee harvest with zero homicides in 2024 and 2025: Juan Pablo Pérez Ramírez, mayor of Támesis.

The coffee harvest has begun in southwestern Antioquia, where more than 59,000 pickers are expected in municipalities like Támesis, which has 1,641 farms and 1,404 hectares dedicated to coffee. The coordination between the Government, Public Security, the Mayor's Office, and citizens to ensure security was highlighted, allowing Támesis to record two consecutive years without homicides. With the leadership of Governor Andrés Julián Rendón and the commitment of the community, the goal is for this coffee season to take place in an environment of peace and trust for farmers and their families.
