هذه الأفعال أثارت استياءً واسعاً بين الزوار، حيث اعتبرها الكثيرون إساءة لحرمة المدينة المقدسة وزيارة الأربعين، وتعدياً على مكانة المرجعية الدينية، وزعزعةً للأمن العام في وقت يتكاتف فيه الجميع لضمان نجاح هذه الزيارة السنوية المهمة.
