I had a black Suzuki GT500 bought new for $1250 in 1978. At 18 I rode it from Lawton Oklahoma up through Colorado, Wyoming, Yellowstone, Jackson Hole, Montana and through Glacier National Park. It was a great bike, but my partner's single cylinder Yamaha XT500 had a bit more punch through the twisties. It's a two-stroke btw. The oil reserve is the tank with the GT500 label.
