Type-A Rifles is a joke. Don't deal with these guys! They dont even have their own piston system, they use Superlative Arms piston system in their contractor models and they aren't even pinned on they are set screwed. That is ok on a di gun but a piston gas block? No go!! Aslo, I bought a handguard from them and it didnt fit for the application I was gonna use it on and the guy was a snob on the phone and kept cutting me off and wouldnt let me talk. Kept saying there was a 25% restocking fee on a return. A return that hasnt even been mounted on a gun?? Thats insane!! Blessing in disguise because I was just getting ready to buy one of their guns tomorrow for $2600. Im glad I did more research and then this chump on the phone wasn't even trying to hear what i was saying. A company that charges that much for a gun and they dont even make thier own piston operating system but they put a retrofit kit from another company and the gas block is set screwed on?? Haha, yeah hard pass on that BS. Everybody reading this needs to listen because I've owned most of the top piston brands and Type-A sucks. Im a gunsmith and have been for 22 years and I'm glad I saw one in person today because after looking under the handguard then that was a DEAL BREAKER.
