This house didn’t just get to this condition because the mom was busy. There’s definitely something much deeper going on and if that is the case the house is gonna return to the state it was before. I’m saying this from personal experience, growing up in a house with an abusive father and depressed mother. No matter how much I cleaned it always went back😕

When people are overwhelmed they deserve help - beautiful! I have clients who just cannot maintain a home even with meds and therapy, so putting energy into action instead of judging is what's needed. 💗

This is too sad. Those poor children... Being autistic and being in that chaotic home must have been torture for them...its like a sensory overload with insects, dirt and everything in chaos. That clean home must have been a blessing for those kids and the dog. Auri must be getting good karma for all the people she helps 😇

It took like 4 cleaning cycles for me to break my depression and start working on my life. Decluttering was a huge help. You guys are probably right that they need extra help after this, but this is a huge step in the right direction and once cycle 1 is over cycle 2 comes by more quickly and is more easily done. The first step is the hardest. Its not hopeless and your not doomed to a dirty home forever just because youre depressed. I fixed my inner world by changing my outer world to fit the new me and it worked
