The misunderstanding is basic math. 1 + 1+ 1 = 3, not one. Baisc math proves the trinity false... 3 distinct persons are not 1.
See John 17 if you want to understand that Jesus came so we can be one with Him the same as he is one with the Father. This happens when we do the will of the Father like Jesus did. Being one with God is to do the will of the Father, and through the Holy Ghost, we can know the will of the Father.

I think that God is beyond understanding. we can only accept what it says about God. We see that in the bible, the Father, the Spirit & the Son are all credited with raising Christ from the grave. if all 3 raised Him, then all 3 had the ability to do so and only God has the ability to raise from the dead.
But as far as LDS goes, if God is made of Flesh and Bone, Does the Father still have his genitalia intact? If so, Blood flow to that organ is necessary for inter-coarse. So since LDS believe that Gods are constantly procreating with each other, then do the physical sperm and physical egg create a spiritual baby? how does all of this work?
i think if you want to pretend to be confused about Christian understanding, then you should have some pretty deep theological discussions about the LDS God. This is a man with no blood that is constantly having sex with multiple wives in order to produce babies made out of immaterial spirit...
is gestation still 9 months? are spirit babies born in litters? or is it one at a time, 9 months at a time? answer these embarrassingly absurd questions and we can have a discussion about the being of God and how He is incomprehensible.

I am reading the BOM for polemical reasons. I realize that 2 Nephi talks about Crucifixion that wasn't known about in the alledged Nephi's time. Doesn't describe it at all. It presumes it is known about.
Another anacronism.
