I have a very jumbled accent. I live in Ireland, but practically grew up on the Internet. There's a specific name for the accent (according to YouTuber and GTAVI voice actor DarkviperAU) but I forget it at this time.

YES. As an American teacher, my student got mad at me for pointing out that they have an accent. They denied it.
I just moved to the UK. I walked into a shop and the shop keeper was very aware that I am an American by my accent.
