This kind of architecture also takes away the soul from the cities and makes them look dull. Iā€™ve also seen this kind of glass buildings in places with high temperatures such as Middle East, India etc. which makes no sense because glass would absorb heat.

Itā€™s also physics. If you want to build up then thereā€™s only so much artistic freedom you can have before it becomes non functional

"You can only build a building so high before they all look the same" is just a flat out incorrect statement. Look at classic American skyscrapers like the Empire State Building, Sears Building, and Twin Towers, etc. There is plenty of variety in architectural style.

The same reason why Pyramids were found all over the old world - we just figured out the most efficient way to build up shit as tall as possible.

ā€œGlabalist architectureā€ isnā€™t a thing. You can make up a term and then speak with a false air of authority on it. Itā€™s still made up and doesnā€™t exist. I fully agree that many modern buildings are generic- but this is literally made up, non-academic terminology.

šŸ¤” you were onto it with the war, but then strayed away. Before world war 2, wars were long and unprohibited, with the capital city definitely getting ransacked and torched, so people didn't want build a building for 150+ years, for it to be taken down in a war, in 2 seconds, humans have learnt.
Also the intricacies, before the war a building had very little to worry about on the interior, with probably only basic electrics, now (and from since about the 1970s) the interior takes up a larger % of the costs, time and man power. With painting, A.C, fire safety, insulation, sound proofing, double glazing, computers, et

"Le Corbusier and Frank Lloyd Wright", ah yes, the famous Prairie Style skyscrapers and brutalist three-over-ones. Wait, no... it's all Modernist or Postmodernist and updated/lazy interpretations of Bauhaus.

Every time someone says "globalist" I can't help but think that they are using it as an antisemitic dog whistle
