Essential to all of our Mercedes split cooling kits, is our fluid divorcing unit. This piece looks different on every vehicle but serves the same purpose which is to eliminate the stock heat exchanger (which cools the transmission oil with the intercooler coolant). Swapping the stock heat exchanger for our divorcer allows us to run a separate oil cooler completely dedicated to the transmission, and leaves the original cooling circuit to only worry about the intercoolers. This one upgrade improves TWO cooling systems and is one of the best bang for buck mods, especially if you’re at stage 2 or above power levels.
