I knew looking up John Rambo sigma edit would be a good idea. I forgot how haunting he was in the first movie… I am eternally glad my father shewn it to me when I was young, the complete societal rejection wholesale of an entire generation of young men trained and taught only to destroy the enemy, left to wander streets and abandoned office buildings… the VA a joke, the world moving on without them even ‘protesting’ them, as he so emotionally puts it. Even at his breaking point John couldn’t be broken, and was able to tell his pursuer “I could have killed you. But I did not, because I chose not to.” This is what Rambo is all about, god damn.

The first movie is literally peak, i would say that it is definitely one of the best movies of all time.
Its mostly accurate to the book and it shows what Rambo was supposed to be a broken veteran who was betrayed by his own nation, the sequels turned him into an average 80s action Hero.
