Sometimes prescription medications can be lost or run out. I don't know if it is still the case post-Brexit but it was possible to get replacement prescription medications by simply showing either the box or the prescription re-order form to the pharmacy. Payment was required but, in my experience - on two occasions, it was relatively inexpensive.

If you require glasses for driving then Spain requires that you have a spare pair in the van.

Get an account card that allows you to exchange your money for free, I think nationwide do one. If it is a credit card, go back to your hotel, go online and pay the sum you got out in cash off immediately, to incur no interest charges as well, there is an interest charge on cash, unlike goods and services bought. The other thing is, if you are driving through France to get there, take a fire extinguisher, to put any fires out, if rioters torch your van.

Hope you are well. My advise is to get a phrase book in Spanish and portugese. As its outside the "normal tourist time" not everyone speaks english. I would also get a print out of your vaccination form from the NHS. Some border or checkpoint don't accept the ones off the phone. Ps enjoy the trip.

Take a hard copy of your repeat prescriptions, Spanish pharmacies will prescribe replacements if you have it.
