Some people have a feeling of freedom when they ride their motorcycle. That freedom ends when you end up in the hospital. Two trips to the hospital is enough, a third trip could possibly send you to the morgue.
You have a lot more things to accomplish and you're doing so many good things! You have a lot more protection in your car

I followed you on Instagram but I no longer on that platform. I'm 62 and have been riding since I was 16 stop.. 3 years ago I had apparently a diabetic episode on the bike and woke up in an ambulance. I wasn't speeding or anything it was in a residential neighborhood and there was very little damage to the bike; I mangled my left hand and destroyed my right shoulder which is now made of titanium. Being left-handed and losing the extensor tendons for three fingers has put a damper on my ability to earn a living. The surgeon recommended that I not ride any more but I have. I am now collecting social security disability which barely covers a couple of utility bills per month it's been tough going for the last 3 years, let me tell you..

Glad you weren’t unalived! After a motorcycle accident shattered my right wrist, it just never was the same again… Not to mention it was difficult to do the clutch work after all that!
