I'm surprised that Alabama, Mississippi, Missouri and Michigan weren't in this list šŸ˜®

Tennesseeā€™s crime wouldā€™ve been average if it werenā€™t for Memphis and the surrounding areas near Memphis.

Something about this video leads me to believe that poverty and crime go hand in hand. I wonder what would happen if the poverty rate declined

I moved to Arkansas from Arizona ! I'm moving back asap I can't get down with the poverty ! Dry counties , no infrastructure! Lack of resources...in my personal opinion these states down south that had slavery encourage crime so they can get slave labor in prisons ...I looked it up slavery is permitted here in the correction system ...I hate arkansas !

Believe it or not...these are just SOME of the statistics I took into account when I was choosing where to retire.
Along with this there was political balance, available jobs, weather, police presence and their interaction record, solid industry presence and the markets they inhabit... ECT ECT...
That's right folks, you can CHOOSE where you live.

Some people don't deal with police when violence takes place. Some people keep it amongst themselves.

Though AR may be ā€œpoorā€, you can stretch your dollar farther than almost anywhere in the nation, sooo Iā€™m not sure that computes. Also consider ratio of wealth with Walmart headquarters there, which may unbalance things even further. Canā€™t say, though. Sad about the other stats :( But if they rank 5th in so many areas, how did they land 3rd? šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€

Watching this video makes me want to move to Vietnam. There's no more guns there. Not even bb guns. And it's civilized.

This is why I left Louisiana in 2016. A retired widower, living alone is just a target.
