The misconception lies in assuming that the reaction force disappears when the table is removed.

When the table is present, the action-reaction pair is:

- Action: Gravitational force (Earth pulls book down)
- Reaction: Normal force (Table pushes book up)

When the table is removed, the book falls, and the action-reaction pair becomes:

- Action: Gravitational force (Earth pulls book down)
- Reaction: Normal force (Earth's surface pushes book up, or the air resistance pushes the book up, albeit very weakly)

The reaction force doesn't disappear; it's just that the surface or air resistance provides the reaction force, not the table. Newton's Third Law remains valid.

Remember, the reaction force is not tied to a specific object (like the table); it's a consequence of the interaction between the book and its environment.

Sir, I've been a loyal viewer since 2019. Although you haven't gained massive subscribers and views yet, I believe in your potential. Keep creating content, and someday you'll achieve success like Walter Lewin on YouTube. Your dedication will pay off!
