I have one of these, it's my fave kitchen gadget. I've had one for 20 yrs, since before they were electric and you had to hand crank it. It's called a Rotato.

For 15 years
I peeled potatoes by hand most evenings per week for dinner for my family…
I’ve got so sick of it,
The monotony 😅
… for quite a few years now
it does not matter what kind of potato ,
I cut up potato into chunks leaving the skin on! ( obviously wash off any soil and check round each potato for odd bits to cut out the surface.)
Cannot be bothered to peel and mash potatoes anymore!!
I’ve retired from that!
