Some people need to understand the difference between a “bad character” and a “bad person”. Jimmy is a great character in this story because he’s a well-written “bad person” who’s actions drive the themes of the story forward.

We hate jimmy, but is like removing pennywise from IT. It would make no sense.
How a story would impact the reader if there not even conflict to begin with? You put yourself in this story because there's horror. You need an antagonist and not always needs to be a monster like an alien or a ghost or zombies.
There's no monster as scary as a person with too much power.

There literally wouldn’t be a game without him 😭 I just really appreciate the commentary the devs created from his character because I’ve had personal experience with so many men like him (same with the Curlys that surround them.) The creators wrote him perfectly and with proper care. That’s why he’s my third favorite behind Anya and Curly (although it’s hard because I love all 5 of the crew members and what they bring to the story.) Open up the schools because there’s too many people that took away nothing from this and have zero media literacy

I mean honestly, Jimmy IS this horror game's monster. The horse isnt even. And whats so crazy about it is that what makes him so horrifying and repulsive is that all that makes him horrible is something present in more people than youd like.

i love jimmy not because hes a good person but because he was able to give us the true experience of mouthwashing and how hes managed to make everyone hate him without the respect for his role as the villain. Hes done such a good job everybody just wants him gone, not even taking time to appreciate how much of a craft of a jerk the devs made him

Jimmy is my favorite character because of the depth he has put into his character! Despite popular belief he’s not “PURE EVIL” or heartless; he’s human. And to a certain extent he is relatable; everybody has wanted to run from consequences before! But that’s the point! We’re supposed to learn smth from Jimmy!

If nothing went wrong in most franchises, they wouldn't have a good plot. They could technically avoid making him a r4pist and it would still be amazing, but there's also something very eerie about it and genuinelly makes him such a bad person because murder and violence is too normalized to pass as interesting for a villain.
