God gave us free will, dosen't peare good with evil doings.
R*pe and murder are done because of free will, but it interferes with the free will of the victims whose free will is just go abaut their day and not to be r*ped or murdered.
Every free will would interfere with the free will of another person, and nothing would be done.

All i need say is this
Me: do i have free will
God: yes
Me: what happens if i use it to lets say earn a bunch of money and spend it on nice fancy things in life?
God: well that makes you greedy
Me: but you just said i have free will but ill be punished if i use it?
God: yes, if you choose to stray from the path i want then you will be punished
Me: then that isnt free will, that is slavery.....

You are right, chances are extremely high that you will die before God has anything to do with you whatsoever. Right along with virtually every other person who has ever lived, from the time of Adam till the return of Christ.
Free will has to do with choosing to accept or reject God's terms for living forever.
God is so totally committed, to this decision being voluntary on your part, that he will let you choose to reject him, even though your decision means you will be dead for ever.
This choice has been presented to but a very very tiny number of people at this point in human history.
No one ever has been, or ever will be, presented with this choice, without them being in absolutely no doubt as to God's existence and terms.
Your ideas & questions stem from you not knowing what the Bible presents as to how, why & when God is dealing with us.

Wait, so according to this apologist, the 12 disciples did not have free will because Jesus objectively demonstrated his supernatural abilities to them - e.g., healing the sick, casting out demons, walking on water, turning water into wine. This is just another example of unpersuasive ad hoc reasoning by a Christian apologist.

Im somewhat confused on the premise, You made a broad assumption than attacked that assumption saying because there is a specific amount of time required to believe and the gap in-between the time of unbelief to belief means you no longer have the choice to believe if you can die before you have the chance to believe
Respectfully sir, I dont believe God works that way personally and again im making personal truth claims but on the premise you mentioned why live for a pension or a retirement if you can die any time in-between why not live just for the now and ignore the future?
Im not comparing this to the Christian belief of eternity , But i do believe your strawmanning a bit, Because attacking the belief of divine hiddeness and free will but not including any sort of thought for eternity, and that if say someone doesn't believe until there 40 that God had simply no knowledge prior to the belief or he preserved thr Life of that person until they believed. Seems conspicuous, and convenient if you completely limit the Christian God down to the idea of deistic being who has no control , No understanding of free will . Has no way of preservation to his chosen, And even if someone was given 1000 years, 200,000,009 million years who is to say they still would believe
(NONE OF THIS IS A CASE FOR MY BELIEF, IT IS SIMPLY THE ISSUE WITH THE ATTACK ON THE BELIEF WITHOUT INCLUDING THE ENTIRITY OF THE BELIEF IN ITSELF)

"Apologist Mental Gymnastics" should be an Olympic sport.
It's just mesmerizing to watch.
