I would ask a couple questions. When you say blocked, are you talking about an outright blocked, can't post the video, or do you mean a copyright claim?
Second, if you are talking a copyright claim, here are a couple things to understand about this.
1. If it is an independent artist, it is usually the music distributor (TuneCore, DistroKid, etc.) that is doing the copyright. They are used by artists to get their music onto streaming sites such as Spotify, or onto iTunes.
2. For these cases, if you do not allow the song to play at any time continuously for 30 seconds then the system will not try to claim.
3. If you are dealing with record labels, then all bets are off. I have seen as short as a 3 sec clip get claimed by these.
4. Check the description of the song and if you see Sony or UMG, it is best to just avoid these at all cost.
Now if you are talking about an outright block, this is usually done via record companies on new songs for select mainstream artists.
There is also the copyright strike, these are more rare, but there are 2 instances that I would advise to not do. 1. React to Garth Brooks, he is very protective of his music. 2. React to any song that Tom MacDonald has NOT released on YouTube but are on albums that he has sold on his site.
Good luck out there, if you have any questions feel free to ask.

With Tom MacDonald I don't think he's copyrighting it it's main times YouTube on behalf of the artist. I don't know about the other independent but mainscream always gets copyright claims some will be removed and the videos allowed if contested although honestly I don't post here so I dunno someone I know who might be able to help as he's always dealing with this issue is the reactor Cliff Beats. He's an awesome guy who might be able and willing to help. I don't know how to contact as I only have FBook And YouTube but I believe he has an Instagram that he might answer more. Other than that sorry makes me sad. I would see if you could get ahold of Samson also if that's one he might help. Tom DM him or catch Nova in her discord that might be faster. Like I said not sure how these sites work and have to much in life to spend all that time on social media sites 🤣🤣

I never understood why they'd do that. In reality, they are introduced to more fans that will buy their music through Reactors. Why would they cut their own throat? Do you like the group, Home Free? (They're super good, btw), that is a group that doesn't mind. If you do get a claim, then you write them, and they'll get it removed.

I think it is more of a record label situation more than the artist/bands fault.
To put it frankly, it is they who add copyright claims on everythhing, only to make sure their produced shizzle cannot be pirate copied.
What they do not seem to understand is that would happen anyway since it is still possible to download anything off of youtube either via an extension program or with youtubes own tool called clip.
It takes some more time to download and edit together a "clip", but it is still possible.
Record labels these days are only beating around the bush or shooting themselves in the foot or biting themselves in their tail instead of going against these content thieves in their eyes.
I would like to see if those multinational record labels in fact fund parts of the pirate copying companies, because if they don't, how is that still a thing and how can they not have put the p for it already?

This is why music reaction and voice coach channels have Patreon. They just transfer those videos over to there so people can see them.
