Peace be upon you ( again ). While making this video I was wondering why the background in Sanctuary Fortress felt so empty despite being a city and I just realized why: there’s no planes in the sky!
🥥In my little corner of the world there’s at least 5-6 airplanes spotted in the night sky an every night. It’s hard to imagine that back then the sky was ALWAYS empty save for the moon, the stars, and the birds. Mas salama, and see you later inshallah. :

Sanctuary fortress is probably my favorite location in any game. There is just so much being shown about luminoth society and how quickly Aether fell after impact with the phazon meteor. Metroid Prime 2 is just so good!
