I admire you and your good get it attitude. Everything your doing is exactly what I wanted to do all of my life but I never believed I could do it. I'm am quiet a bit older than you so when I was your she a back yard garden wasn't so well heated of like it is today. Growing your own food was s something my grandpa did. π. You have a beautiful garden and are learning so much. I do crochet and I love your temperature blankets that's something I haven't tried yet. I can't wait to see what you have in your other videos

If you want more recipe ideas look up austrian recipes (poppy cake or Mohnnudeln as just two examples) - I believe you can also find good recipes amongst polish and other eastern european cuisines
As someone who grew up in a country where poppy seed based desserts are completely normal, it is SO weird to see how other cultures just immediately associate it with drugs. The type that are safe to cook and bake are completely fine to consume.

My grandma always had a big field of poppies in her garden cause where she's from there's lots of traditional food with poppies. It's so beautiful when it's in bloom and so so so good. I will definitely do the same once I have my garden
