Is it normal to feel a split second pain/shock/awareness when the heart skips a beat? I've been having this issue for along time, many years. Atleast that's what i think is happening, it does feel like mh heart skips a beat but it hurts, i feel it and i am very aware when this occurs, it is very painful, the panic the sudden eye opening and adrenaline rush that it causes me is terrifying
