literally the only reason I got into any sort of fan fiction was because I heard someone mention Isolation and then I googled it. My poor, 12 year old soul did not deserve to be surprised by the smut, but I suppose if the fanfic was..less interesting, I might’ve never started writing myself. needless to say, I still read Dramione to this day & I look back on Isolation with a strange sort of gratitude. fun fact: jk rowling (as much as she gets on my nerves) was initially going to write hermione and draco slowly falling in love starting from the third book. I personally would have loved if she did that because it would have added a lot more drama with the line of good and evil with deatheaters
