Likely because they couldn't say there 100% vegetarian unlike Heinz are.
Also there shelf life wouldn't be very long plus home made beans don't reheat well and would be like rubber.
Along with you need to factor in each day and extra job to make beans without preservatives they can't make in bulk.
They couldn't even use chicken stock because that's not even vegan friendly π

Where do they have the time with all the driving for food and other perp they are doing. With all the customers one person supposed to make the food take the oder make the order and take the money while stopping to wash hands in-between eatch step sorry customers its talking me 7 minutes eatch person and the amount of gloves and soup lol it's easier to hair more people they both have 200+ people for a small line lol

It's because all around the uk when ppl think beans they think Heinz. So if u keep ur customer familiar with the same beans they'll buy coz they know the taste
