I absolutely resonate with everyone who'd like to have the option to hide the reels section. I don't like that all apps are starting to feel the same. Creators posting the same thing on Instagram Reel, Facebook, Tiktok and YouTube... I go on YouTube to watch long form videos but ultimately somehow get distracted and find myself in a Shorts video... just like I'm doing now, how ironic😭

2! I would love to be able to block YouTube shorts or at least not seeing them. I go in the app to watch something specifically and end up scrolling and I have to block the whole app. But I need YouTube for work 😢

When you try to scroll through the shorts in your subscription it doesn't go in order or show you all of them. Pls it kills me!

As a User, when im in the Search settings, I want to see more accurate options on "upload date" and "duration" so I can easily find videos withing "this" year instead of "last 12 month" or more accurare durations. Also, filtering by language.
Get rid of spamming accounts. They are out of control.

Ability to hide or reposition all of the shorts, engagement, icons, and text. Because for some videos, it ends up, hiding all the text or important information.

YouTube problems: not every YT short is able to save to a playlist. The space to create shorts and potential add music is not easy to use nor available on all devices.

Not having an option to hide the whole “Reels” section.
Most of choose YouTube over other socials like insta bc it saves from doom scrolling
but it gets tempting when series of reels are right there!
