i just recently was hospitalized with a uti that went septic. It wasn’t until after i had sat in the er for hours and then was admitted when i found out i could have (and should have) called 911 when my symptoms started, but i didn’t even know what my symptoms were from because of how little it’s talked about and especially because im 18 i didn’t even think you could get it at that young. All in all, It was a horrible experience that im so glad was caught early before it got too bad.
