I come from Assyrians that fled the region of Palestine because of the anti-Assyrian violence that came with the uptick in Arab immigration in the late 19th/early 20th century. Are we not forgetting something else that's important to note about true colonisation in Palestine? The whole reason there are Muslims in those lands at all is because of the numerous Empires which colonised it. Amongst which were islamic empires such as the Islamic Caliphate and the Ottoman Empire. The whole reason they are in Palestine is because they invaded Palestine. So since Israeli Jews have been consistently present in those lands since before Islam was even conceived, I would argue that the natives are not colonisers and the colonisers are colonisers. Only people are too dumb to realise who is who. They think the people who have always been there are the colonisers and the people who invaded are the natives. It really would be like trying to claim that white Americans are the original Americans and the Natives are the colonisers
