You get them from completing the secret mission you unlock after completing all three overthrows WITHOUT teleporting to the next you can have 3 people for this initial part and after reaching the final level of the over throw(1000) kills each area (landing,blooming,impasse )you have to find the secret hidden bosses and eliminate them before the count down of no new spawning enemies. It shows over some YouTube videos that they unlocked a flag that you rally to but ONLY 2 can enter so if you have a third you have to boot someone. I messed up my run and have to wait to run it again.

bungie fixed this for the witch queen, trust me I tried. Any exotic engram you save won't give you the new final shape exotics, it will only give you exotics from the time period of when that exotic engram dropped.

Bungie confirmed that the exotic class items will drop from a new activity and you'll get a random roll each time you complete it.
