๐ค I used to resist rest. Now Iโm learning to receive it.
Another way self-compassion has radically helped me is by changing my relationship with rest. I still struggle sometimes, thereโs old programming that says I need to keep going. But now, I can pause. I can listen. I can give my body what she needs without guilt.
A little comfort. A little stillness. A moment to stop the noise.
Itโs simple, but itโs powerful. And we all need it.
