I have many questions; for now, here's five:
1. Why don't you accept the prophetic books, beginning with Joshua? What authorizes stopping with just the Pentateuch? God tells Moses explicitly that he will raise up future prophets "like you."
2. The Torah commands that sacrifices only be brought in the place that God has chosen, which everyone agrees is the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. How do you worship God outside the land, if you only have sacrifice?
3. If you have no interpretative tradition outside of the text of the Pentateuch, how do you know the way to perform many of its commandments? For example, what does it mean to bind the words of God on your hand and between your eyes? Or what constitutes work on the Sabbath?
4. What makes you different from Karaites?
5. You mentioned following the Septuagint. Why would people who say that nothing which comes after the Pentateuch is sacred use the 3rd century BCE Greek translation which differs in many respects from the Hebrew text?
