The states and the feds never should’ve gotten rid of net neutrality in the first place. Well done California, you at least patched ONE issue.

That's fine if it's for the people by the people 😃

It can be good or bad, depending on the terms. They can label it as "net neutrality" but push something that is damaging to small business and individuals.

It's a great thing, because us neighbours to the North will follow, and we're all terrified of not having neutrality. We seem to love letting the US guinea pig things that require no debate (like decriminalizing cannabis). Hope this continues to snowball out of control.

Putting favoritism on specific traffic is going to lead to stagnating development of our infrastructure (why expand and improve when there's plenty of money being made), and leave us with the most convoluted and expensive plans in the world. Baffling that it's even on the table.

What this means is regulation... think about the timing of it... before the upcoming election. Coincidence? I think not.

If it's reasonable then it should be done.
If it's as simple as all traffic being treated equally then yes.
However...
Ever since I first heard of "Net Neutrality" and what it is/involves it made no sense and still doesn't. Nothing changes!

Net neutrality is fine because it requires the even treatment of all traffic. It's not innovative to get off on nerfing your service unless someone pays you twice as much money, and our internet infrastructure doesn't generally have major issues with normal unlimited day to day use even if everyone were to have gigabit net. Net neutrality is only a good thing.
