Much like depression-the root of my addiction was anger turned inward-whew! That resentment ran super deep.

True. Resentment is the number one offender.

The Blessed Mother is the template. She is the one who can lead us most properly to the Lord. After Our Lord, Himself, She is the most perfect example of humility, selflessness, obedience and purity.

Sometimes I find one has to accept and learn how to manage those resentments , not acting out selfish desires, whether it's material want's or thinking someone else can fix you.

It's ok to have nice things as long as you don't put them before your primary purpose to be useful and have contented sobriety

The root of my addiction was medically passed down to me from both sides of the family just like my eye color.

Can a person be born with resentment and anger? I remember as a very young child having such hatred towards my mother.

Jesus true teaching was telling us christ conscious is within us all. We in low frequency cos of governments experiment n the church. Remember the real history we have been lied to

So true.

"Selfishness—self-centeredness! That, we think, is the root of our troubles. Driven by a hundred forms of fear, self-delusion, self-seeking, and self-pity, we step on the toes of our fellows and they retaliate. Sometimes they hurt us, seemingly without provocation, but we invariably find that at some time in the past we have made decisions based on self which later placed us in a position to be hurt."

Thanks to you I’m becoming aware of my resentment. I am refusing my medical patients and disowning my Family and not traveling for Holidays that have no meaning for me! And the Catholic Church is the biggest institution of repression. That’s why Wiccans never forgive but that that anger and throw it back three fold!
