First time doing ice skating, cut my finger to the point where you could see the bone. Had to get stitches.
UPDATE here's the main part of the story - as i was trying to learn how to ride proper way on that thing, i fell. (countless of times before) but that time, as soon as i tried to stand up i accidentally slid the razor across my finger which started bleeding heavily and i was rushed to get stitches (surprisingly, when i cut my finger i didn't feel any pain whatsoever, only dizzy. I felt pain only after i got 6 shots of pain numbing suringe.)
And don't worry, ny finger is completely fine now

As someone who does rollerblading and tried ice skating a few days ago, I think I did pretty well. It takes a bit to get used to, gliding is slightly different, but practically the same. Standing actually feels a little easier, compared to rollerblades, feeling like you’re automatically moving because of the wheels. Jumping high and landing on both feet kind of hurt my heels a bit more compared to jumping on rollerblades. Stopping feels.. kinda hard? But tbf I used rental skates during my first time

As someone who used to figure skate and is now rollerblading, I think tricks are way easier and smoother on ice. There's so much less resistance/friction. It takes a lot more to rotate rollerblades.
