My father was a captain at a fire hall in Toronto Ontario. They had the same clockworks as Big Ben and in fact they would have have the clock workers from the UK come over every couple years to give it a “tune up”. I was always fascinated going up there and watching the the minors click by.

Big ben is the bell, not the tower. Dont worry, a lot of people dont know that. The tower is actually called the Elizabeth tower!
