With my high drive German shepherd I have her favorite ball and some other random one, both visible I throw the less favorite ball, after 20-30 seconds of control I throw the blue one and let her go get it. Sometimes Iโll even let her start chasing the lower value ball and call her off and if she listens she gets the great ball.

This was one of my personal first teaching of my dogs in the past. I did it so they wouldnโt run after something, and out in the street, to possibly get hit/run over. Great advise. ๐จ๐ฆ

My dog has now learned that he can pull clothes off the line ๐ข. I am almost at my wits end now trying to correct him. Sometimes its like he gets it, other times I feel like he is testing me out. I have faith in teaching him impulse control though now. I just have to teach him to bring back the tennis ball when I have thrown it ๐ช

Ive a 10yr old German Shepherd. She fimds it hard getting up stairs. Absolutely zero aggression with dogs or people. If a cat is in view she's a young dog again and will chase it until she cant get near it. Only thing she will hive you a deaf ear on, even treats domt work. All this time I've no idea why

Will, I'm going to my 6th dog, unfortunately, but I'm really into having my first king shepherd. I had 2 german shepherds mixed with black labradors, one rottweiler and 2 pinchers mixed. Should I get one? I lived in a home with a big yard but now I'm in an apartment.

Do you have any udeas what can I do to train my dog if she is really reactive towards stranger dogs since she was attacked by another dog in a walk. She is 3 years old now and I try to do my best to teach her but sometimes the reason she is getting frustrated is because she feels how I nourvos I am. Can you please help?๐

what dog is good thats small enough to fly on most airlines in cabin for first time owners . and is energetic enough it can do 10 mile hikes like a few times a month and 2-3 hour walks daily
