Margit is a casual filter. Die to him a handful of times and you’ll notice that he’s actually quite slow in phase one. I keep to his right side (from the player perspective it would be keeping to the left of your screen) and he has some pretty good telegraphic moves. The delayed attacks always have a stomp or foot movement, the overhead horizontal slashes can be dodged by going the opposite direction (if he slashes left, roll right) and it’s best to just run away from the jumping attacks.
