She's right. I am very fit and enjoy working out...but my wigs opted them out for braids but it gets hot during summer.
My wig came off once at yoga while on "down dog "! Pose. Hopefully nobody's else saw it. I quickly put it back but I know the camera saw me😬🙄.
She inspired me to leave my hair out. Cause I will not give up my healthy lifestyle over wearing wigs.

I'm from the Caribbean so when my American friends say they need to do their hair when going to the islands and it's crazy cause having your hair fully soaked in the ocean right down the scalp is so refreshing.

I needed to see this today😅I’m one month microloc’d and I’m going back to the gym for the first time since getting them. My hair loc’d is much finer than when it’s loose and it’s been an adjustment 😂You answered a question I had in my mind 😂

i remember reading that about 45% of black women avoid exercise and working out bcuz of their hair. honestly such a heartbreaking statistic 💔 especially when you remember that we are also disproportionately affected by illnesses that can be prevented by regular exercise such as obesity, heart disease, high blood pressure, and the list goes on
