Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz stated that breaking the law within Punjab's borders will result in a strong response.
While addressing the inauguration of the Agriculture Graduates Internship Program in Faisalabad, she heavily criticized Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, urging him to work for the public instead of resorting to insults and violence. She emphasized that she will not allow the people of Punjab to be turned into terrorists and warned that lawbreakers will face consequences.
Maryam Nawaz announced the launch of Pakistan's largest-ever farmers' package, commending the Minister of Agriculture and the Secretary of Agriculture for their efforts in developing this agricultural package in a short period. She noted that her colleagues are as young as her own children.
She criticized the tarnishing of politics and emphasized its importance in daily life. Pointing out that many young people have been disappointed by the lack of merit-based jobs in the past six years, she stated that she has faced discontent within her party, which consists of 95% youth.
Maryam announced that the scheme will provide a monthly salary of 60,000 rupees to all young participants, assuring that none of the thousands of jobs were obtained through favoritism and that merit lists were strictly followed.
She reiterated that the biggest farmers' package in Pakistan's history, worth 400 billion rupees, will be launched next year.
Addressing the criticism of her province, she remarked that while it is easy to insult others and cause chaos, it is essential to focus on governance. She mentioned encountering patients from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Punjab's hospitals, highlighting the need for better healthcare.
She pointed out that there is a backlog of 15,000 pediatric heart patients and that immediate arrangements have been made for surgeries, with many of the children coming from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Maryam concluded by criticizing the rulers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for focusing on insults and unrest instead of serving the public, urging them to prioritize the people's needs.
