My Grandmother Had A variation on that that you would put in the soil of a plant that would click so you would know how wet or dry the soil was.. she grew these incredible African Violets from a leaf that you could buy at the Philadelphia Flower Show.. the sound would be different for each type of plant depending on how much water the plant liked

They should make one that has a stepped design that used for a measuring cup that comes with it so it can speak what level the liquid level is at

Seems like the prongs should be a bot smaller, sinc eit started going off way before you had a full glass. But i guess this way theres a bit of a safety in case youre slow to react?

I had one of these with a 9v battery in it. I hated it. Trying to pour a cup of water for tea would wake the whole house. I really think a simple quiet beep would be sufficient. I use my finger. It's works fine.
