Paying $300/sq for a new roof is insane! Just materials and dump fees SEPERATE from labor is $200/sq by me for 30 yr asphalt. No way would I get guys to tear off and put on for only $100/sq to equal $300/sq. (Not to mention any $$ for the GC) I’m in the Midwest and I think the going rate is closer to $600/sq charged for a new roof.
